Camps run Monday through Friday starting at 9AM and ending at 3:30pm, with the exception
of Friday. Final performances are Friday at 4PM. Performances are open to the public.

Description

Second Street Gleeks (Musical Theatre)

Junior (Ages 7 to 11)                    July 5th-9th

Intermediate (Ages 12 to 16)        July 12th-16th

What's a Gleek to do? The music for the upcoming show has been lost and the performance is only hours away! This week intertwines popular music with the spectacle of musical theatre. Bring your singing voice and your dancing shoes because in order to make in this Glee Club you need to be a triple threat.

Fairly Happy Ever After  (Comedy)      SOLD OUT!

 Ages 7 to 11                                 July 19th - 23rd

What happens after the iconic "Happily ever after"?  You may be surprised.... Cinderella and Prince Charming are preparing for their wedding when a few uninvited guests show up. Will they and their fairy tale friends make it to their happy ending?  Will the fairly godmother get there in time? Or will the villains succeed in ruining the party?

Who Forgot the Script (Improv)

Ages 12 to 16                               July 26th - 30th

An empty stage, no costumes, no script..... An actor's worst nightmare, right? Not this week! Improv is back, with a whole week focused on the basics and the not-so-basics. Learn why trouble is good, why control is bad, and why we always say YES! Start up your imaginations and be ready for anything, because everything can happen on an empty stage. After this crash-course in improv theory, we will set you loose with a final performance of high energy theatre games.

Second Steeters Got Talent (Parody)  SOLD OUT!

Ages 7 to 16                               August 3rd to 6th (Four Day Camp)

You would think putting on a talent show would be easy, but not for this show. The judges are careless, the producers are on the verge of a breakdown, and the talent remains talentless. Will the show go on? Can you save this would be fiasco and turn it into a performance of comedy and excellence? Prepare yourself for the talent show of the century in this play about the difficulty of making the untalented talented and the naysayers' true believers.

Dr. Seuss's "The Lorax" (Story Dramatization)  SOLD OUT!

Ages 7 to 16                               August 9th to 13th

The name speaks for itself in this crafty adaptation of one of Dr. Seuss's most acclaimed works. Be prepared to dive into the fabulous world of The Lorax and bring this Seusstacular tale to life on the Second Street Stage.

Sherlock's Home (Mystery)

Ages 12 to 16                           August 16th to 20th

The greatest detective of all time is needed once again, but he is absolutely nowhere to be found. All that is known is that he was last seen at his manor and it is now up to his servants, friends, pets and his loyal friends Watson to find his whereabouts. This mystery will challenge the keenest of actors into following the clues and finding the truth of what actually happened to Sherlock.
