Suppose you have been a very successful playwright, but had not had a hit in a long time. How far will you go to have a hit play on the boards? Treachery and even murder, if you happen to be Sidney Bruhl. This thiller has all the usual ingredients: deceit, hidden clues, plot reversals, unexpected turn of events. But don’t expect the police to arrive, though; instead you get a psychic who helps disentangle the trap.
